A U.S. Army veteran turned comedy sensation, he rose to fame in 2008 by winning Who Got Jokes on TV One, solidifying his place in the comedy world. Lav has also made his mark as an actor, with roles in films like Secret Headquarters (Marvel) and The Heathen.
In addition to his acting and stand-up, Lav is the host of The Lav Luv Morning Show, where he brings his signature humor and energy to the airwaves. A gifted writer, he served as head writer for 12 episodes of Off The Chain and starred in Funny Not Famous in 2023. Known for his unforgettable live performances, Lav has graced the stage on BET’s Comic View and toured with legends like Chris Tucker and Jamie Foxx.
